Note: This rate was written on five pieces of paper, of about 12 inches in width and 16 in length, which have been folded and stitched with white thread to make a booklet of twenty pages. Two pins provide bindings at the top and base of the booklet. Some of the names are grouped in unusual alphabetical clusters.
Dartmouth The rate for the poor of North Towne Dartmouth received at Easter 1601 for one yere followinge.
