[51r] Convocatio praelatorum et cleri provinciae Cantuariensis facta per reverendum in Christo patrem et dominum Dominum Thomam, Dei et apostolicae sedis gratia archiepiscopum Canuariensem, totius Angliae primatem et apostolicae sedis legatum, in ecclesia Sancti Pauli Londoniarum, sexto die mensis Octobris anno Domini millesimo tricesimo nonagesimo nono secundum cursum et computationem Ecclesiae Anglicanae, indictione octava, pontificatus sanctissimi in Christo patris et domini nostri Domini Bonifatii, divina providentia papae noni, anno decimo, et translationis eisudem domini archiepiscopi anno quarto.
Quibus die et loco, propter ardua negotia utilitatem regni et Ecclesiae Anglicanae concernentia, et praecipue circa promunitiationem parliamenti per illustrissimum principem dominum nostrum Henricum quartum in palatio suo apud Westmonasterium, tenti multipliciter praepeditus, quominus ipso die convocationis limitato interesse potuisset, venerabilis et religiosus vir dominus prior ecclesiae Christi Cantuariensis, de mandato dicti reverendi in Christo patris, ut mihi notario constabat, vivae vocis oraculo sibi in hac parte facto, convocationem huiusmodi continuavit usque in crastinum, videlicet diem septimum eiusdem mensis, in loco memorato.
