Summary
Gellius readings are taken from the Oxford edition of P. K. Marshall. The florilegium is represented by L (Bodl. Libr. Lat. class. d. 39), K (Bodl. Libr. Rawl. G. 139), William's Polyhistor (PH) and John of Salisbury's Policraticus (Policr.). The order of the extracts is as found in L and K. Readings recorded are: (i) Agreement between two or more representatives of the florilegium against those of the complete text; (ii) Agreements of the florilegium's extracts from bks i–v with MSS of the complete text other than P; (iii) Agreements of the florilegium's extracts from bks ix–xvi with representatives of the complete text other than the g family (OXpN); (iv) Interesting editorial modifications in the florilegium.
