1 First brought in the Southern District of New York on grounds of diversity of citizenship, the action was dismissed for want of jurisdiction, a decision that was affirmed by the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit but without prejudice to plaintiffs’ filing suit under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act of 1976.
