2 By a decision of the eighth annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Bank, Czechoslovakia was suspended from membership in the Bank as of December 31, 1953 (See International Organization, VIII, p. 134). Under the Articles of Agreement of the Bank (Article VI, section 2), a member so suspended automatically ceases to be a member one year from the date of suspension, unless a decision is taken to restore the member to good standing.
