The 44th session of the International Labor Conference was held in Geneva from June 1 to 23, 1960, under the presidency of Mr. L. Alvarado Garrido (government delegate and Minister of Labor and Indigenous Affairs, Peru). The Conference was attended by over 900 delegates, advisers, and observers from 78 member countries and 17 territories, including the Ministers of Labor from 31 countries.
