1 Following the postponement of the 26th International Conference, the ICRC submitted the text of the present Regulations to all the States party to the Geneva Conventions, inviting them to make any objections known within six months. As no proposed amendments were received by the deadline of 30 June 1992, the Regulations came into force on that date.
