Extract

Annulospira oculata gen. et sp. nov., belonging to the family Thelaziidae is reported from the orbital cavity of a parrot. It has coarsely annulated cuticle, well developed buccal capsule, narrow caudal alae, pedunculated cloacal papillae and a gubernaculum.
