Hymenolepis chrysolampidis n. sp., a parasite of Chrysolampis mosquitus of Brazil

Extract
The material forming the basis of the following account was collected from a ruby-crested humming bird, Chrysolampis mosquitus, a native of Brazil. This bird died in the gardens of the Zoological Society of London and the parasites were forwarded for identification to Dr. R. T. Leiper, F.R.S., of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
