First record of Abludomelita aculeata (Crustacea: Amphipoda) from the eastern Mediterranean

Abstract

The amphipod Abludomelita aculeata, previously known from the western Mediterranean and the Lusitanian region of the eastern Atlantic, is reported for the first time from the eastern Mediterranean. The record is based on two adult males collected off İzmir, Turkey.
