Interprétation des résultats de surveillance individuelledes expositions professionnelles au dioxyde d’uranium « Proposition de dosimétrie collective »

Abstract
L’uranium est naturellement présent dans l’alimentation, à un niveau très variable, conduisant à des activités détectables dans les excréta, indépendamment d’une éventuelle exposition professionnelle. L’interprétation des résultats de surveillance radiotoxicologique individuelle des travailleurs exposés professionnellement au dioxyde d’uranium doit donc prendre en compte l’apport alimentaire pour établir une estimation dosimétrique. Pour ce faire, les auteurs ont testé différentes approches dans le suivi d’un travailleur et proposent une méthode originale d’interprétation des données radiotoxicologiques par comparaison des résultats obtenus dans un groupe de travailleurs exposés à ceux collectés dans une population de référence. Cette méthode a permis d’estimer une dose efficace engagée annuelle pour un groupe de travailleurs exposés au dioxyde d’uranium.
