Open access journals
We support open access in a variety of ways in our journals programme.
We have a growing list of journals that publish Gold Open Access articles under Creative Commons licences. In some cases Gold OA is simply offered as an option for authors (“hybrid” journals), but a growing number of journals require Gold OA for some or all article types. Many of our hybrid journals are registered as Transformative Journals with cOAlition S, in support of Plan S.
