This chapter will present another significant interaction between the Dark Tetrad personalities and cyberspace – that of “romantic” relationships. The chapter will begin by reviewing different forms of cyber abuse in romantic relationships, such as cyber dating, revenge pornography, and ghosting. The chapter will then review the specific role of each Dark Tetrad personality in abusive cyber relationships and the motives behind these behaviors in this setting. Finally, the chapter will present research findings on the nature of the association between the Dark Tetrad and abuse in the context of online romantic relationships.
