Summary
The Conclusion focuses on sacro-legal symbols in which the spiritual and the legal unite to change the status of individuals and groups, such as the Catholic sacraments or the forensic prayers as found in Rabbinic texts. These examples help to see that religion and the law draw their power from the same source: from sacramental performatives which constitute the basis of all social acts.
