This article was originally submitted to the Journal of Radiotherapy in Practice by the author Minsik Lee ostensibly as the work of a sole author and published accordingly in 17(4): 422-426. It has since been brought to the journal’s attention that the article Dr Lee submitted was a verbatim copy of an article already in preparation at the University of Maryland, where he was a postdoctoral trainee.

The article in question has now been amended to show the names and affiliations of the original contributors, with Dr ByongYong Yi listed as the corresponding author.
