A checklist of Corsica's lotic Chironomidae is given. Collections of pupal exuviae from 32 river sites (July 1995, May 1999)yielded a total of 147 species-level taxa including several previously unknown pupal exuviae. Three of them are figured? Hayesomyia Pe nov., Eukiefferiella Pe nov., Thienemanniella Pe nov. These unusual forms may possibly be endemic speciesto Corsica that are new to science. Most of the chironomid species recorded are western Palaearctic. 11 species are circum-mediterranean.

During the summers 1992 and 1993, 15 species of Clinocerinae (Empididae) were collected on Corsica. The illustrated descriptions of six new species are given: Roederiodes wagneri sp. n., Clinocera (Kowarzia) cataractae sp. n., Wiedemannia (Chamaedipsia) ariolae sp. n., Wiedemannia (Chamaedipsia) bravonae sp. n., Wiedemannia (Philolutra) kallistes sp. n. andWiedemannia (Wiedemannia) martini sp. n.. Their systematic relations with other species are discussed. Informations is given about their geographic distribution and their habitats.

Une espèce nouvelle, Baetis albinatii nov. sp., est décrite (imago mâle et larve au dernier stade) à partir de matériel récolté en Corse. Elle appartient au groupe muticus et est très voisine de B. navasi Müller-Liebenau, 1974.

Imagines, nymphs and eggs of Rhithrogena nuragica n. sp. are described from Gennargentu, Sardinia. Nymphs and eggsof R. insularis Esb.-Pet. and R. eatoni Esb.-Pet. from Corsica are described for the first time. R. nuragica and R. insularisbelong to the same species group, namely the insularis group, characterized mainly by the very peculiar tubercules onthe egg chorion. Nymphs of this group have crenulated gills, femora with a median dark spot and plica on the first gillsubtriangular, with a digitiform projection on the free corner. R. eatoni belongs to the alpestris group.

Description illustrée de la larve au dernier stade de Baetis ingridae n. sp., rencontrée en Corse. Cette espèce appartientau groupe rhodani.

Une nouvelle espèce de simulie appartenant au sous-genre Obuchovia Rubzov est décrite à partir de pupes et de larvesrécoltées dans un petit cours d'eau temporaire du Haut Atlas (Maroc). Une étude comparative des espèces ouest-méditerranéennes d'Obuchovia est réalisée.

Description illustrée de la larve au dernier stade de Baetis cyrneus n.sp. Cette espèce, rencontrée en Corse, appartient au groupe alpinus : elle est comparée à cette dernière espèce et à B. punicus Thomas, Boumaiza et Soldán.
