This article reported two cases of brucellosis in children on the waiting list for a cardiac transplant who have been referred with the diagnosis of Fever of Unknown Origin. The serology was positive and patients were treated with cardiac transplantation in the 6th week. They had no recurrence or rejection. Therefore, brucellosis should be considered in patients on the waiting list for cardiac transplants.

Coronary artery fistulas have been described in patients after heart transplantation more often than in the normal population. We reviewed our centre’s database between 2008 and 2020. Thirty patients had coronary angiography and 13 showed non-cameral coronary artery fistulas in their first coronary angiography. Distribution, degree and evolution of the fistulas and characteristics of transplant procedure, patient and immunosuppressive treatments were analysed.

Plastic bronchitis is a rare and difficult to treat disease process in patients with congenital heart disease. Cardiac transplantation has been used increasingly to reverse this process, especially in single ventricle physiology. This case report demonstrates a foreseeable complication after cardiac transplantation in such a patient.
