Kawasaki disease is an acute self-limited vasculitis of unknown aetiology. The prognosis depends mainly on coronary damage. There is no consensus regarding optimal adjunctive therapeutics for refractory forms to treatment by intravenous immunoglobulins and corticosteroids.
