Recipe ﹛half a quarter﹜ de de [sic] meedwax ﹛half a quarter﹜ terpentine ﹛half a quarter﹜ de perrosyn ﹛half a quarter﹜ pics ﹛half a quarter﹜ barowes grece ﹛half a quarter﹜cimini ﹛one ounce﹜ … (second recipe) Take alom roche & breke to pouder sotely þen take hony wel iboylede & clarifiede & put þe alom pouder þerto & tak a quartre of verdegrece & male powder & put þerto & incorper hem wel togidre.
Two recipes, one for a plaster containing a wax-based ointment (‘Ad faciendum cerotum anglice a gummede cloth’), the other for an ointment, in an empty space in the same s. xv hand as [A 76].
MS s. xiii; English s. xv. Provenance not known. At one point listed as being one of the Elbing MSS (i.e. from the Brigittine foundation of Elbing, near Danzig), but clearly not from that monastery.
