The use of the power spectral density function to measure the effects of motion on an aircraft simulation

Extract
Although hundreds of moving base simulators exist in the world today, there is a paucity of objective and quantitative methods of assessing the necessity for, and the effectiveness of the motion provided. This paper describes a quantitative method of assessing the effects of motion on an aircraft simulation when there is short-term interactive control of the aircraft by the pilot.
