1 On Sept. 28th the Council authorized its Acting President, in consultation with the Secretary General, to appoint the members of the committee. As a result of this decision,the Acting President, after submitting a list of the proposed nominations to his colleagues on the Council, appointed the following persons to serve on this committee: Professor Basdevant (France), M.
