A new Gall Midge Predator of Mealybugs, Coccomyza donaldi (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae)

During a study of the natural enemies of mealybugs that transmit a virus causing swollen shoot disease of cacao, R. G. Donald submitted specimens representing a new species of the gall midge genus Coccomyza. This species is here described to provide a name for use in connection with the biological work.
