Confirmatory Evidence of the Validity of the Species Pectinophora scutigera, Holdaway (Queensland Pink Bollworm), from a Study of the Genitalia

A study of the genitalia of both sexes of the Queensland pink bollworm, Pectinophora scutigera, Holdaway, originally named from the immature stages, has confirmed the validity of the species. Details of a comparative study of the genitalia of this species and Pectinophora gossypiella, Saunders, are given and figured.
