By frequent trips to the woods and marshes in spirng, to gather and sift the moss for hibernating coleopterta, by minutely examining the debris on the shore of Lake Erie, and by the use of umbrella and sweeping net later in the reason, I have added to my collection of beetles, since 1886, several hundred good species, The following list contains those of my captures that do not appear in the lists of Candadian Coleoptera.
