Extract

During the summer and autumn of 1905 severall small collections of mosquitoes were sent to me by Major Hassard, of the Royal Army Medical Corps, and Colonel Loscombe, from the Military Station at Newcastle, alt 4,000 feet, and more recently a number of living larvæ from the same locality, collected by Miss. Maclaverty.
