Review of the Fern Aphids in North America With Descriptions of a New Species and a New Genus

Abstract

Seven indigenous and four introduced species of aphids occur on ferns (Polypodiaceae) in North America. A new species, Macrosiphum cystopteris, is described, and Macrosiphum sleesmani Pepper is designated as type of a new genus Papulaphis.
