Late winter 2019 and early spring 2020 have seen the world adapt abruptly to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). This has affected how we practise emergency medicine and has required rapid innovative practice changes locally, nationally, and internationally. We are proud of the Canadian emergency medicine community for leading the way. The Senior Editors would like to thank all of the authors who stepped up, providing high-quality, reliable guidance for clinicians through the CJEM COVID-19 series of articles. CJEM has received many submissions, and with the help of our publisher, Cambridge University Press, we are excited to be able to share all accepted COVID-19 articles as open access. To date, we have accepted 27 submissions, with another 9 currently under review. An initial selection of these articles is presented in this issue of CJEM.
Sincerely,
