Professor Heinemann holds that the Stoic doctrine is inconsistent with the Plotinian view that World-Creation is timeless (Plotin, 72). But the fact that the Plotinian Cosmos in an ‘ewige Konstruktion’ which no Stoic Ekpurosis can destroy, allows the adoption of Logoi and Periods.
