Kontingenz Aspekte einer theoretischen Semantik der Moderne

Abstract

The article is a systematic synopsis of significant aspects of the modern semantics of contingency on the basis of its historical genesis. His thesis is that hermeneutic, phenomenological, post-structuralist, system theoretical, pragmatist and anthropological concepts of the modern age can be joined to a “post-modern” “métarécit”: in opposition to “post-modern” selfinterpretations, modernity as a culture of contingency is the “métarécit” of “post-modern” modernity.

L'article offre un panorama, organisé à partir de leur genèse historique, des sens divers donnés à la contingence dans la pensée moderne. La thèse est que les vues opposées, âge moderne comme culture de la contingence, autosuffisance post moderne de la signification, peuvent être jointes sous l'étiquette de “ métarécit post-moderne ”.

Der Artikel ist eine systematische Synopse signifikanter Aspekte der modernen Kontingenzsemantik auf dem Hintergrund ihrer historischen Genese. Seine These ist, daś sich hermeneutische, phänomenologische, poststrukturalistische, systemtheoretische, pragmatistische und anthropologische Konzepte der Moderne entgegen postmoderner“ Selbstdeutungen durchaus zu einem ”postmodernen“ ”métarécit“ verbinden lassen: Modernität als Kontingenzkultur – das ist der ”métarécit“ der ”postmodernen“ Moderne.
