P-1046 - Endogenous Depression Through the Model of Informational Levels of Psychic

Abstract

Along the time, there were several attempts to explain the etiopathogenic model of endogenous depression. Each time, there was a fragmented view of a complex determined nosological entity influenced by the different paradigms that were shared by different authors. Adepts of organic theory of depression have overestimated the contribution of biological factors, psychoanalysts have based their paradigm of depression exclusively on unconscious processes of psychic, behaviorists have highlighted just the classical and operational conditioning processes of depressive behaviors and the cognitivists have built their paradigm based on consciousness psychic processes as dysfunctional beliefs and cognitive distortions. Unlike the aforementioned paradigms, we developed a new model of the informational levels of psychic that is more comprehensive and can better explain one of the most complex disorder as is depression. Also, our model makes understandable connections between the biological level of depression up to the level represented by noosphere of inter-human communications.
