Abstract
Tiger, tiger burning bright
In the forests of the night
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame your fearful symmetry
Symmetry seems to be a desirable property, yet wherever we look we find asymmetry. This paper explores the presence and nature of asymmetry in biological systems.
