Open Repositories 2020

The first Open Repositories Conference on the African continent. The annual conference continues its objective to bring practitioners working at the interface of technology and scholarship together. Participants at OR come from higher education, government, libraries, archives, and museums to share their experiences and knowledge about repository infrastructure, tools, services, and policies.

CALIcon 2020

“Agents of Innovation.” We must give agency to our students so that they can construct their own educational journeys, we must give agency to our faculty through tools, websites, content, and support so they can teach at the top of their talent and we must be agents of change in legal education to build a better justice system. Programs include “How to Teach Legal Research in the Age of Algorithms” and “Open-source/Free Tools: Fun and games and challenges.”

SLA Annual Conference (Special Libraries Association)

“Be Part of the Movement.” The SLA Annual Conference is the premier event for special librarians and information professionals who want to explore the latest challenges and trends in knowledge and information management, refine their skills, connect with colleagues, and meet with leading information product and service providers.

International Symposium on Robotics and AI in Libraries

The rapid development in robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are making in-roads into libraries and information services. This symposium will include presentations from experts in the field, panels and round table discussion, and a hands-on workshop on developing algorithms and applications.
