A simple method of using highly saline water for irrigation

Summary

Hofuf-Alhassa is one of the important agricultural areas of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The water available for irrigation purposes is limited in quantity and saline in nature.

To maximize the use of available water sources, a technique is described to mix irrigation water with drainage water, taking into consideration the salt balance effect in the soil under the Alhassa conditions.
