Stable localized electromagnetic pulses in asymmetric pair plasmas

Abstract

It is shown that pair plasmas, through the new focusing–defocusing nonlinearity generated by an ‘asymmetry’ in initial temperatures of constituent species, can support multidimensional, stable, large-amplitude light bullets as well as bullets carrying vortices, i.e. spinning bullets.
