Metaxymolgus longicauda (Claus), a copepod associated with the cuttlefish, Sepia officinalis L.*

Extract

Based on the morphology of the mandible, female maxilliped, and male first endopod, Lichomolgus longicauda (Claus) is transferred to Metaxymolgus Humes & Stock, 1972. M. longicauda is recorded for the first time from Sepia officinalis L. taken in British waters.
