The symposium was entitled “The Relative Applicability of Class and Sectoral Frameworks to the Analysis of Social, Economic and Political Change in Latin America,” and was held at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on April 18 and 19, 1969 under the sponsorship of the Center for Latin American Studies of that university.
