Magnetism 2016 will be held April 4–5 in Sheffield, UK. It is organized by the Institute of Physics Magnetism Group. Co-chairs are Dan Allwood of The University of Sheffield and Gonzalo Fernandez of the University of York.
The conference focuses on magnetism research and in the past has included sessions on spintronics, domain walls, dynamics, vortices, skyrmions and topological systems, spin ice, biological and organic magnetism, superconductors, magnetocalorics, and ab initio theory.
The conference includes oral sessions; invited talks, including IEEE Distinguished Lectures; poster sessions; and an exhibition for industry. It is primarily for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, but participation from outside the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland and from industry is encouraged.
The abstract submission deadline is January 15. Early registration ends March 3, and registration ends March 24. The accommodation deadline is March 21. More information can be accessed from the conference website at http://magnetism2016.iopconfs.org or by email at conferences@iop.org.
