Nanosecond Uv-Scintillations in Cesium Iodide
Published online by Cambridge University Press: 21 February 2011
Abstract
Fast UV-luminescence of CsI has been studied by time resolved luminescent spectroscopy. Experimental data support the conclusion that the high temperature (150–500 K) fast UV-luminescence arises from the trapping of free excitons in sites perturbed by lattice defects.
