Abstract

An attempt was made to analyze the mechanism of the distribution of Sr and Cs isotopes depending upon petrochemical and petrophysical characteristics of metavolcanites of the basement forming the territory of the Production Association (PA) Mayak, Chelyabinsk District, Russia. It was found that radionuclide reterdation depends on the structure, density and mineralogy of intact rock.
