Pressure Induced Structural Transitions in Manganites with Orbital Ordering

Abstract

In order to explain magneto-elastic and pressure measurements in doped colossal magneto-resistance manganites, we postulate a doublet-triplet model and use it to predict the occurrence of the various phase transitions.
