Scientific Progress Toward Meeting R&D Needs: Autobahns and Wanderwegs

Abstract

This paper summarises the last talk given at the conference. Its contents were prepared during the first four days of the symposium with the goal of comparing the R+D needs as specified by three invited lectures with the actual scientific work as given in oral and poster contributions by symposium participants. We first present some general conclusions and then address specific aspects of the individual sessions. Finally, the main conclusions from the six workshops are given.
