Abstract

The structure and extraframework cations of dehydrated zeolites (Ba,K)-G,L (Si/Al=1) and (Ba,Li)-G,L (Si/Al=1) are characterized by powder neutron diffraction. The results provide direct evidence of the similar structure directing roles which barium and potassium play in the syntheses of zeolites with the LTL topology.
