We are very pleased to report that after talks with our publishers, Cambridge University Press, we expect the Nordic Journal of Linguistics to go from two to tree issues a year next year, 2010.

We are furthermore happy to announce that the issue 33.2 (2010) of the Nordic Journal of Linguistics will be a special issue devoted to the Nordic Languages and Second Language Acquisition Theory, edited by Ute Bohnacker and Marit Westergaard. For full details, see the call for papers immediately after this note.

We would like to remind our readers and potential contributors that there are three ways to contribute to the Nordic Journal of Linguistics: (longer) articles, (shorter) debate contributions, and book reviews.

Last, but not least: To all the reviewers who have reviewed papers for the Nordic Journal of Linguistics in the year 2008, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for your time and effort (also on the part of the editors of the special issue on the syntax of nominals and noun phrases, Lars-Olof Delsing and Kersti Börjars).
