Amblyomma calabyi n.sp. from Western Australia (Acarina: Ixodidae)

Extract

The new species of Amblyomma described in this paper was collected and forwarded to the author for identification by Mr J. H. Calaby, Wildlife Section, C.S.I.R.O. This is the fourth species of the genus to be recorded from Western Australia, the others being A. australiense Neumann, A. albolimbatum Neumann, and A. triguttatum Koch (Roberts, 1953).
