Two New Species of Trematodes from an Indian Ruff (Philomachus pugnax Gray)

Extract

The two specimens of trematodes herein described were obtained from the intestine of an Indian Ruff, Philomachus pugnax. Of six birds examined, three harboured a few of both species. The genera to which these worms belong have not been hitherto recorded from India.
