We consider illumination effects in a weakly self–gravitating (4πGΣ ∼ Ω2 z) outer disk region (R ∼ 1017cm) around a supermassive blackhole of M 8 = M/108Msun = 1 with relatively high mass accretion rates ( 25 = /1025g/s = 1). (e.g., Shlosman and Begelman 1989, APJ, 341, 685; Shore and White 1982, APJ, 256, 390).
