The reference to Kristen Carpenter in Greg Johnson’s essay “Defending the Sacred into the Future,” Journal of Law and Religion 37, no. 1 (2022): 170–74, at page 170 (final paragraph) was incorrect. Professor Carpenter has no tribal citizenship, and the essay now reads “American Indian law scholar Kristen Carpenter.” The author and editors apologize for this error.
