Birds

Image of InAs/GaAs nanowire heterostructures, catalyzed by Au, magnified 10,000 times obtained using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) operating at 15 kV. The neck/body is GaAs and the beak is InAs + Au catalyst. The eyes were artificially added post-process. The color of the image was inverted from the original SEM image.
