Article processing charges (APCs)
This journal is a wholly open access journal, which means all articles are published Gold Open Access under a Creative Commons licence. In many cases the costs of publishing Gold Open Access articles are covered by institutional open access agreements. If you are not covered by such an agreement, another option is for an article processing charge (APC) to be paid, typically by your funding body or institution. This journal also supports Gold Open Access through equity initiatives and APC waivers and discounts, in order to ensure that no author will face a financial barrier to publication. Article type waivers and discounts
No publishing fees will be charged for Editorial or Obituary article types.
A 50% discount of the full open access publishing fee will be applied to the following article types:
- Brief Clinical Report
- Study Protocol
Waivers for society members
BABCP members (who are acting as the corresponding author on a paper) are entitled to a 20% discount on their article processing charge (unless entitled to an article type discount as noted above). Members wanting to take up this option will be able to do so during the payment process.
