Summary
Saints and relics are not particularly prominent in classical canon law. Canons dealing with the subject are few, and they focus above all on the authenticity of saints and relics and the liturgy surrounding their worship. The historical relevance of these regulations depends less on canon law itself than on the outstanding importance of saints in medieval life.
